JOHN KAUFMAN

John Kaufman is from the small town of Dillsburg PA. John’s interest in Lighting Design evolved at the age of 8 when he attended his first concert with the 2008 tour of The Trans-Siberian Orchestra. John’s focus was immediately drawn to the various production elements of the show. By the time John was in high school he was the Technical Director for his high school theatre, while simultaneously serving at the Lighting Designer for a local community theatre. John’s interests brought him to The Pennsylvania State University School of Theatre where he was accepted into the program for the fall of 2017. Some of John’s most recent works include Penn State School of Theatre’s She Kills Monsters and THON 2020 as well as various concept works in ETC Augment3d.
